OBITUARY: Signora Bradley Ramsey, Mar. 1, 1980 SOURCE: Daily News Leader, Staunton, VA (Unknown date) CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow -------------------------------------------------------- RAPHINE -- Mrs. Signora Bradley Ramsey, 96, of Route 1 died 4:30 p.m. Friday in King's Daughters' Hospital where she had been a patient for five weeks. She was born May 19, 1883, in Nelson County, a daughter of the late William and Virginia Zink Bradley. Her husband Christian L. Ramsey, died in 1929. She was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, William L. Ramsey of Roanoke, Russell T. Ramsey of Raphine and Raymond E. Ramsey of Stuarts Draft; one daughter, Miss Alma V. Ramsey of Raphine; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Cash of Steele's Tavern and Mrs. Lottie Fitzgerald of Covington; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Vesuvius Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Fowler, with burial in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her nephews, Buell W. Fitzgerald, William B. Harvey, Emory Snead, William Snead, Billy Fitzgerald and Ralph W. Cash.
