Obituary: Jayne Louise (Truslow) Roberts, 2002 Source: The News Virginian, August 6, 2002 Contributor: Dennis Truslow --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NELLYSFORD - Jayne Louise (Truslow) Roberts, 43, of Zoo Lane, died Sunday (Aug. 4, 2002) at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born June 12, 1959, in Charlottesville, a daughter of Jessie and Peggy Anderson Truslow. Mrs. Roberts was a production worker for Con-Agra Frozen Foods in Crozet. She liked to fish, enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Guy Edward Roberts Jr.; her parents, Jessie and Peggy Truslow of Afton; her mother-in-law, Iva Roberts of Nellysford; one son, Kyle Edward Roberts, of the home; one daughter; Tina Louise Wingfield and her husband, Tracey, of Afton; two brothers, Randy and Rodney Truslow, both of Afton; one sister, Pam Patrick of Afton; and two sisters-in-law, Gladys Fisher and her husband, Randy, of Nellysford, and Lynda Roberts of Nellysford. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rockfish Valley Baptist Church by the Rev. Whitney Critzer with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Shane Bryant, Rodger Patrick Jr., David McGann, Greg Shifflett, David Roberts, Jessie Truslow and Jim Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
