Simpson Cecil L. Simpson, 82 of Schuyler, died Thursday, July 1, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Nora Simpson and one sister, Beryl Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Virgie A. Simpson; three children, Willard Simpson and his wife pat of Fredrick, Md., Bob Simpson and his wife, Marilyn, of Charlottesville, and Nancy Stull and her husband, Juan, of Jefferson, M.d.; one brother, Raymond Simpson of Charlottesville; two sisters, Ellen Thomas of Charlottesville and Janie Drumheller of Madison Heights; seven grandchildren, Brett, Andy, Jim, John and Kathy Simpson, and Ryan and Travis Stull; and three great grand-children, Joshua, Nick and Andrea Simpson. Mr. Simpson was a member of Schuyler Baptist Church and the Rockfish Masonic Lodge No. 108 A.F. & A.M. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home, Scottesville, with the Rev. Tom Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Alberene Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
