Obituary: Annie J. (Henderson) Sullivan, 2002 Source: The Daily Progress, September 27, 2002 Contributor: Dennis Truslow ----------------------------------------------------------- Annie Josephine Sullivan, 73, of Afton, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at her residence. Born May 8, 1929, in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ressie Carter Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ferguson; her daughter, Shirley Cash; two brothers, John and James Henderson; and her granddaughter, Lesia Clark. Annie was a member of Rodes United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a housekeeper and loved spending time with her family. She was a collector of cow figurines. Survivors include her son, Michael Sullivan; her brother, Robert Henderson and his family; two grandchildren, David M. Cash and Anthony G. Clark; and her son-in-law, David E. Cash, all of Afton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at Reynolds Funeral Service, Waynesboro. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Rodes United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard McDowell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dale Cook, Jim Willis, Jimmy Garwood, David Garwood, Ken Lee, and Buddy Dulaney.
