OBITUARY: Henry Massie Taylor, 1962 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow -------------------------------------------------------- Henry Massie Taylor MONTEBELLO -- Henry Massie Taylor, 72, died at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, yesterday at 10:30 a.m. He was born March 12, 1890 in Nelson County, a son of the late William H. and Martha Coffey Taylor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zimena Taylor. He was a member of the White Rock Christian Church in Montebello and is survived by three sons, Orcie Taylor of Route 2, Waynesboro, Elwood Taylor and Willard Taylor, both of Waynesboro; one brother, Lafayette Taylor, Massies Mill and nine grand children. A funeral service will be held at the Evergreen Christian Church in Nelson County Saturday at 1 p.m., conducted by Dennis Harris and Hatley A. Mabry, ministers. Interment will be in the White Rock Christian Church Cemetery. The body will remain at McDow-Tyree Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church. Active pallbearers will be Ottis Fitzgerald, George Truslow, Ralph Campbell, Earl Fitzgerald, Chester Fitzgerald, and Edward Mason.
