OBITUARY: WAYNE A. TAYLOR, 1984 SOURCE: Unknown newspaper CONTRIBUTOR: Carol Harlow ------------------------------------------------------ CHARLOTTESVILLE -- Wayne Autry Taylor, 43, of Elder Care Nursing Home died Tuesday morning (June 26, 1984) in the nursing home. He was born in Nelson County Sept. 9, 1940, son of Willard Vane Taylor of Crozet and Wavie Ann (Fitzgerald) Taylor of Staunton. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Kenneth Wayne O'Gorman of Charlottesville and Mickey Stanley Taylor of Elmira, N.Y.; two daughters, Miss Tammy Lynne Taylor of Elmira, N.Y., and Miss Sandy Rena Taylor of Front Royal; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Griffin of Madison, Mrs. Juanita Henderson of Afton and Mrs. Patricia Pugh of Charlottesville, and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 11 this morning in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Rev. Wayne L. Merchant, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
