Tillman Emmit Wilson Tillman, 82, of Alexandria, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas H. and Elner Taylor Tillman; two brothers, Henry E. Tillman and George T. Tillman; and one sister, Mary T. Phillips. Survivors include his wife, Maggie A. Tillman; one daughter, Wendy D. Tillman of Alexandria; one step-daughter, Joyce A. Baker of Stafford; three sisters, Gladys T. Marks, Martha T. Kitchen and Elsie T. Phillips, all of Schuyler; two grandchildren, Ricky R. Baker and Tosha L. Baker; and two nephews and one niece. Mr. Tillman served in the U.S. Army during World War II. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottesville, with the Rev. Thomas B. Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at the Tillman family cemetery in Schuyler.
