OBITUARY: Annie Loraine (Zimmerman) Truslow, (died July 25, 1982) SOURCE: The News Virginian Waynesboro, VA., July 27, 1982 CONTRIBUTOR: Dennis Truslow --------------------------------------------------------------------- LYNDHURST - Mrs. Annie Loraine Truslow, 53, of Route 1, Box 206, Lynhurst, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Aug.13, 1928, a daughter of Mrs. Mamie Mae Brooks Zeimmerman and the late Gordon Thomas Zimmerman. She was a member of Lynhurst United Methodist Church and a former employee of the Du Pont Co. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Howe Donald Truslow; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sherrie Gale) Adams of Waynesboro; three sons, Donald Ray Truslow of Stuarts Draft, Miles J. Truslow and Howe D. Truslow Jr., both at home; four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Shirley) Coffey and Mrs. Elbert (Joyce) Ramsey, both of Lynhurst, Mrs. Margie S. Bess of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Walker (Mary) Barker of York, PA.; two brothers, George Zimmerman of Waynesboro and Lewis G. Zimmerman of Route 1, Waynesboro; three grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Nannie Mae Fitzgerald, and one brother, Ernest Zimmerman. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the chapel of Etter Funeral Home in Waynesboro, conducted by the Rev. Robert M. Throckmorton Jr. and the Rev. James A. Floyd, with burial in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Sid Kivett, Arnet Hiner, Robert L. Campbell, Frank Johnson, Grover Moyer, Robert Wirt and Bobbey Claytor. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Sutton, Richard Matheny, Robert McGann, Clarence Mongold, Willie I. Henderson, Troy Hagwood, Charles Flick, L. C. Kent and Leo Mackey.
