OBITUARY: Stoney L. Truslow (died January 2, 1988) SOURCE: The Orange Review, Orange, VA., January 8, 1988 CONTRIBUTOR: Dennis Truslow" ----------------------------------------------------------- Stoney Lee Truslow, 18, of Gordonsville, died Saturday, January 2, 1988, at Cismont, Albemarle County. Born June 27, 1969, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Patricia Blankenbaker and the step-son of Richard Blankenbaker. He was a brick layer. In addition to his parents, he survived by his maternal grandfather, Walker Harris of Waynesboro; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Truslow of Stuarts Draft; his step-paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blankenbaker of Madison; one brother, Roger "Boo" Truslow Jr. of Florida; one sister, Marjorie Blankenbaker of Gordonville; and a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel, Orange. Interment was in Graham Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon George officiated. Pallbearers were Tommy Blankenbaker, Ken Corbin, Mike Roland, Eddie Weideman, Vincent Skylany, Jerry Shifflet, and Marvin Dilla.
