Obituary: Dennett Truslow, 1991 Source: Daily Progress, Feb. 4, 1991 Contributor: Dennis Truslow -------------------------------------------------------- Dennett Milton Truslow, 80, of Route 1, Ruckersville, died Saturday, Feb. 2, at his home. He was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Nelson County, son of the late Everette Truslow and Minerva Carter Truslow. His (second) wife was the late Wanda P. Truslow. He is survived by three sons, Grover M. Truslow of Aberdeen, MD., Dennis E. Truslow of Lisbon, Md., and Charles E. Truslow of Linthicum, Md.; three daughters, Jane E. Truslow of Baltimore, Md., Deborah Donaughue of Baltimore, Md. and Karen Weaver of Edgewood, Md.; four sisters, Lola Bryant of Lovingston, Lucille Slater of Waynesboro, and Dolly Mohler and Barbara Shea, both of Afton; three brothers, Cloudy Truslow of Waynesboro, Hampton Truslow of Rockfish and Jesse Truslow of Afton; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenfield Pentecostal Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Southard will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. Ryan Funeral Home of Quinque is in charge of arrangements. Contributor's Note: Dennett's first wife was Elizabeth Walker Fitzgerald Truslow of Nelson, County and was the mother of all six of his children.
