Obituary: Arthur Austin Truslow, 2001, Age 78 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ------------------------------------------------------------ NELLEYSFORD - Arthur Austin Truslow, a resident of 530 Truslow Lane, died Thursday (Feb.1, 2001) at Avante Nursing Home of Waynesboro. He was born June 13, 1922 in Nelson County, a son of the late Austin and Lillie Bowling Truslow. He was preceded in death by the one son, Bobby Eugene Truslow; four sisters, Althea Harris, Lorine Truslow, Margie Harris and Dotty Truslow; three brothers; forest Truslow, Grafton Truslow and Owen Truslow. In addition to his wife, Annie Mae Scott Truslow. he is also survived by three sons, Arthur Truslow Jr. and his wife, Shirley, William "Pee Wee" Truslow, and Cecil Truslow and his wife, Peggy, all of Nellysford; three brothers, Howell Truslow and his wife, Barbara, of Stuarts Draft, Howe Truslow and his wife, Madge, of Sherando, Henry H. Truslow and his wife, Mona, of Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Juanita Padgett of Sherando; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Revs. Whitney Critzer and Jim Ailor at Hebron Baptist Church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be members of the Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339, who will also provide military rites.
