Obituary: George W. Truslow Jr., 1998 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ------------------------------------------------------------------- STUARTS DRAFT- George Washington Truslow Jr., 76 of Route 2, Box 236, Stuarts Draft, died early Monday (Nov. 9, 1998) at his residence. He was born May 24, 1922, in Lyndhurst, a son of the late George Washington Truslow Sr. and Annie Strange Truslow. Mr. Truslow was a punch-pressman and spot welder of Acme Visible Records Inc. in Crozet and a member of Lyndhurst United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth H. Truslow. They lived I Stuarts Draft since their marriage in 1940. Also surviving are three sons, William "Willie" G. Truslow of Waynesboro, Roger L. Truslow of Waynesboro and David M. Truslow of Stuarts Draft; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Mabel Sluter, Hattie Wiseman, Pauline Truslow and Bessie Andrews; two brothers, Simon Truslow and William Truslow; and two grandchildren, Stoney Truslow and Teresa Ann Hite. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service conducted by the Rev. Charles Massey. Burial will follow in Lyndhurst United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be George Shaver, Frank Patterson, Curtis Hunter, William Truslow, Homer Coffey and Roger Lee Truslow Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family attending the service.
