Obituary: John Wesley Truslow, 1997 Published: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow -------------------------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO - John Wesley "Wes" Truslow, 69, of 329 Walnut Ave., died Thursday morning (Dec. 11, 1997) at his residence. He was born on Feb. 24, 1928 at Nelson County, a son of Vernon S. and Clora (Puckett) Truslow. He was an Army veteran, having served in Korea. He was retired from Lofton Corp. and he attended Second Presbyterian Church. In addition to his widow, Gertrude D. Truslow, he is survived by two sons, John of Waynesboro and Eric Truslow of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, James C. of Lovingston and Charles Joseph Truslow of Wintergreen; three sisters, Mabel Napier and Myrtle T. Coffey, both of Wintergreen, and Ollie L. Fitzgerald of Nellysford; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of McDow Funeral Home by the Rev. John McLean.
