Truslow, 89, of Route 1 Faber, Box 117, died Tuesday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. He was born in Nelson County on Jan.12, 1894, a son of the late Richard L. Truslow Sr. and Ida Belle Truslow. He was an elder of the Wintergreen Christian Church and a retired farmer. His wife was the late Pauline Davis. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth T. Fitzgerald of Roseland and Mrs. Mildred T. Trent of Nellysford; two sisters, Mrs. Noble McGhee of Richmond and Mrs. Ora Whitlock of Fisherville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted Griday at 2 p.m. in Wintergreen Christian Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Richard Meeks, Roger Fitzgerald, James Meeks Jr., Donald Fitzgerald, Toby Fitzgerald and Deveruex Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Wintergreen Christian Church.
