Obituary: Walter Norman Truslow, 1997 Published: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO - Walter Norman Truslow, 78, of 900 Oak Ave., died at 12:35 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 11, 1997) at his residence. He was born June 1, 1919, at Ladd, a son of Samuel H. and Myrtle (Hicks) Truslow. He was a retired Army master sergeant after serving 22 years. He was discharged on May 25, 1961. In addition to his widow, Anna Margarette (Gremmel) Truslow, he is survived by three daughters, Margaret Elizabeth Herr of Dillon, Colo., Doris Lee Pinneck of Las Vegas, Nev., and Barbara Ann Gilley of Alexandria; two brothers, Hicks of Sherando and Lewis Truslow of Orange County; two sisters, Helen Potter of Wakefield, Mass., and Mildred Crief of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Roger, Samuel and James Truslow; and two sisters, Nellie Truslow Noe and Peggy Sue Truslow.
