Obituary: Malinda (Puckett) Truslow, died Oct. 20, 1985 Source: Unknown Newspaper Contributor: Dennis Truslow ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NELLYSFORD - Mrs. Malinda Puckett Truslow, 83, of Nellysford, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday in her residence. She was born Dec. 31, 1901, in Nellysford, a daughter of Walter and Susan Thompson Puckett. Mrs. Truslow was a member of Wintergreen Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Herbert Truslow of Nellysford and Buddy Truslow of Waynesboro; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Carter and Mrs. (Julie Ann) Patrick, both of Nellysford, Mrs. Mary Davis of Arlington and Mrs. Yvonne Toms of Lyndhurst; one sister, Mrs. Clora Truslow of Nellysford; five grandchildren and 12 great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rondu Truslow in 1967, and one sister and two brothers. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wintergreen Christian Church by the Rev. Cecil Rhodes. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gary Small, Elwood Small, Chesley Puckett, Travis Newberry, Wayne Carter and Ronnie Patrick. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Wintergreen Christian Church.
