"Mac" Truslow, 62, of 540 Arch Ave., died at 3:55 a.m. Saturday (April 30, 1994) at Waynesboro Community Hospital. He was born March 29, 1932, in Rockingham County, a son of Margaret Smith Truslow and the late Simon W. Truslow (formally of Nelson County). He was a U.S. Army veteran and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Waynesboro VFW Post #2424 and Disabled American Veteran's Post Skyline Chapter #30. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Chuck" Truslow; and a sister, Frances Morris. In addition to his mother of Waynesboro, survivors include a brother, James "Tommy" Truslow of Jamestown, Tenn.: two sisters, Patricia Anderson and Fay Urie, both of Baltimore; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverview Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis Bradley. Stuarts Draft VFW Post #9339 will conduct military rites at the cemetery.
