Sadie Burnette Vest, 76, of Adial Road, Faber, (Nelson County), died Saturday 
evening, April 10, 2004, at her residence.
Lewis Funeral Service, Waynesboro, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sadie Burnette Vest, 76, 1309 Adial Road, Faber, (Nelson County), 
Virginia, departed this life Saturday, April 10, 2004, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1928, in Nelson County, the daughter of Hattie and Sadie 
(Green) Cabell. She was a retired employee of Conagra Frozen Foods, a long 
time member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Faber.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, a son, Paige McDaniel Vest; two 
daughters, Gladys Victoria and Virginia Ann Vest; three brothers, Hattie, Jr., 
Joe and Thedo Cabell; six sisters, Alice Powell, Nelly Cabell, Robelle 
Jackson, Melissa Calloway, Geraldine Jones and Iola Vest.
Survivors include her husband, Paige Vest; six grandchildren, Danielle Y. 
Carpenter, Terrance S. Vest, David J. Rush Jr., Ronnie L. Tuker Jr., Yolanda 
D. Gray and Christopher T. Rush; three great-grandchildren, Lance T and Lauren 
S. Carpenter and Jamarius P. Vest; brothers - in -law, Charles Vest, John 
Jackson and Lewis Vest; sisters-in-law Margret Cabell, Martha Taylor, Shirley 
Cabell, Catherine Crawford, Juanita Cabell and Margret Turner; special nieces, 
Gwen Vest, Veronica Huges, Pam Crawford, Joyce Loving, Penny Carpenter, Marcia 
Taylor and Mildred White; two special friends, Laura Gray and Verlice Turner; 
and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday April, 17, 2004, at Mt. Eagle 
Baptist Church , Faber. Pastor Rev. Wayne Johnson assisted by Rev. Robin Wayne 
and Rev. Henry Banks. Interment in the church cemetery. The body will be in 
the church one hour before service.
Lewis Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
