Weatherholtz LYNDHURST - Velma F. Weatherholtz, 68, of 29 Vel Mar Lane, died Friday (June 20, 1997) at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born March 28, 1929, in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Palmer and Lina Fitzgerald. She was a member of the Central Point Christian Church and retired from the Sears Company as a credit manager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, a brother, William Fitzgerald. She is survived by her husband, Mark E. Weatherholtz, who she married April 8, 1950; two daughters, Judy W. Via and her husband, Jack, of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Debra W. Heizer and her husband, Brent, of Waynesboro; six brothers, Clyde Fitzgerald, Palmer Fitzgerald, Herman Fitzgerald, Vincent Fitzgerald, Finny Fitzgerald, and Dean Fitzgerald; and three grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of McDow Funeral Home by Pastor James Joyner of Central Point Christian Church. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mote Marshall, Bunk Marshall, Dewey Coffey, Robert Emerson, Vance Hughes and Lawrence Willard. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Central Point Christian Church attending the services. The family will be receiving friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at McDow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Point Christian Church Building Fund, Rt. Box 68, Waynesboro, VA 22980. McDow Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Velma F.
