Obituary: Eunice Coffey Wright, 2002 Source: Lynchburg News & Advance, Lynchburg, Va., Wednesday, February 27, 2002 Contributor: Elodie Thompson -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eunice Coffey Wright, 101, of Lynchburg, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002 at the home of her son, Wayne. Born March 17, 1900 in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Linwood and Mary Kathryn Coffey. She was predeceased in death by her husband, James Homer Wright. Mrs. Wright was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist church. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Wayne Wright and his wife, Pat; one daughter, Marion Frances Saunders and her husband, Roy of Forest; two sisters, Frances Coffey Smith of Bedford and Elizabeth Coffey Howard of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren, Kathryn Saunders Richards and her husband, Dr. Robert Richards, Dr. Roy Lee Saunders Jr. and his wife, Pam of Forest, Elizabeth G. Saunders of Treasure Island, Fla., Margaret S. Kerr and her husband, Mike of Black Mountain, N.C., Kenneth W. Wright, Jr. and his wife, Sherry of Buena Vista, Neal N. Wright and his wife, Alicia of Bedford and Suzette W. Quel and her husband, Rob of Forest. In addition, she is survived by 15 great-grandchildren, Rob Richards, Nathan Richards, Alexandra Richards, Laura Saunders, Pierce Saunders, Ian Saunders, Claire Kerr, McCagy Wright, Jackson Wright, James Wright, Melody Wright, Maria Wright, Bo Quel, Miranda Quel and Faith Quel. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at West Lynchburg Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Stephen Anthony. Interment in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
