Know all men by these presents, that we Charles N. Patterson, James S. Penn, and Nelson 
Monroe are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in the just and full 
sum of twelve hundred dollars to the payment whereof well and truly to be made we bind 
ourselves and each of us, and each of our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly 
and severally, firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals and dated this 27th day 
of October 1856.  The Condition of the above obligation is that if the above bound 
Charles N. Patterson who has this day qualified as the Administrator of Jane Camden, 
deceased, shall faithfully discharge the duties of his said trust, then the above 
obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

At a Court held for Nelson County the 27th day of October 1856.
This Bond was executed and acknowledged in open Court by the parties thereto and the same 
is ordered to be received.
