J. Campbell and James W. Carr are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in the just and full sum of four hundred dollars to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 27th day of October 1836. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Edmond J. Campbell who hath this day been by the Court appointed Guardian for his infant children Elizabeth N. S. Campbell and William F. Campbell, shall faithfully discharge the duties of his said trust, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. E. J. Campbell {seal} James W.
