Wayne Coffey ---------------------------------------------- In the name of God Amen I Jesse Coffey of the County of Nelson and State of Virginia do make and publish this my Last will and testament revoking all others. 1st - It is my wish so soon after my death as possible that all my just debts and funeral Expenses be paid after which I give to Seoticy Coffey (wife of Charles B Coffey) my Entire Estate both real and personal with the following Exceptions on Bay Colt which I give to Elizabeth Coffey daughter to Charles B Coffey to Peter C Coffey on Hundred Dollars in Cash to Joseph B Coffey Twenty dollars in Cash and to Magdoline Coffey Thirty Dollars in Cash. 2nd - I hereby appoint my Brother Peter C Coffey my Executor who is not required to give security as such to carry out the provisions of this will. The Legacies heretofore named are given in trust in the hands of Peter C. Coffey as trustee for the benefit of the parties heretofore named in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 29th day August 1861. This instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Jesse Coffey decd was this day produced into court, and proved by the oaths of two subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Peter C. Coffey, the Executor therein named, who made oath, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $2000 conditioned according to law, (without security, none being required by the will).
