Contributors Note:
Hawsie Hilet Truslow was born February 1887 in Nelson County, the son of James 
Napoleon Truslow and Alice Frances Dameron.  He married Minnie Bryant and moved 
to Eagle Rock where he owned and operated the Wilco Gas Station.  Hawsie died 
April 26, 1953, Minnie died in July 1981 and both are buried in Eagle Rock 
Community Cemetery.

     I, H. H. Truslow, of Eagle Rock, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind 
and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, 
hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made.
     FIRST: I desire all my just debts to be paid and my body decently buried.
     SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath all my estate, real and personal, to my wife, 
Minnie B. Truslow, as her absolute property, to the express exclusion of all my children, 
whether now born or born hereafter.
     THIRD: I appoint my said wife, Minnie B. Truslow, as the Executrix of this my last 
will and testament and direct that no security be required on her bond as such Executrix 
when she qualifies as such.
     Given under my hand and seal this 3rd day of January, 1950.

The above signature of the testator was made and the foregoing will was acknowledged 
to be his last will and testament by the said testator, in the presence of us, three 
competent witnesses, present at the same time; and we, the said witnesses, do hereunto 
subscribe the said will on the date last above written, in the presence of the said 
testator, who was then of sound mind and over the age of twenty-one.

Minnie B. Truslow, Administrator, Executor of H. H. Truslow, deceased, late of the 
said county hereby furnishes the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the said county, 
granting the administration, the following list containing the names and as far as 
possible the ages and addresses of those who would be the heirs of the heirs of the 
said H. H. Truslow; if he had who died intestate, and the degree of kinship of each 
to the decedent:
