Beall, 71, died yesterday afternoon at a Hampton hospital, following a period of invalidism that had extended over two and one half years. A second stroke of paralysis last Thursday night, followed by unconsciousness from which he never rallied, was the direct cause of his death. Mr. Beall was born in Carthage, Ohio, on July 7, 1888, and for more than 20 years had been employed in the telegraph department of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Co. at this city, a position he was compelled to relinquish when he suffered a stroke of paralysis in the summer of 1934.
