A native of Newport News, she was a member of Noland Memorial United Methodist Church and was a former employed of First and Merchants Bank. Surviving are her husband, Joseph C. Brittle, and her mother, Mrs. J.S. Rayfield of Hampton. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Peninsula Funeral Home by the Rev. Jack C. Grizzard of St. Marks United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Horace Lee Brittle, D. Eugene Brittle, Coleman Brittle, Kenneth Brittle, G.H.
