Foster, 55, died at 9:45 yesterday morning at the home of her son, P. G. Foster, 1131 Twenty-eighth street. Death followed 11 weeks of illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 Sunday afternoon at the Twenty-fourth Street Church of Christ. The Rev. Alfred E. Sims, pastor, will be in charge, assisted by the Rev. Jack Cunningham of the Hampton Christian church. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery. The body will lie in state at Cunningham's funeral home, Hampton, until 2 Sunday afternoon. Pallbearers will be: Active - Frank W. Cannon, John R. Smith, Emmett E. Retzbach, Rufus A. Hobbs, R. L. Holsey, and E. L. Gauncy. Honorary - Members of the Welders' Social club, members of the Fitters' Social club, and friends of the family. Mrs. Foster had been a resident of Newport News for 18 years. She came here from Gloucester county. Surviving are four sons: P. G., F. F., S. D., and E. H. Foster, all of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Foster of Hampton, and two sisters in Baltimore and California. -------------- Funeral Services Scheduled Today For Mrs. Foster Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie B. Foster, 55, who died at 9:45 a. m. Friday at the home of her son, P. G. Foster, 1131 Twenty-eightth street, after a long illness, will be held today at 4 p. m. from the Twenty-fourth street Church of Christ. The Rev. Alfred M. Sims, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Jack Cunningham of the Hampton Christian church. Pallbearers will include: active - Frank W. Cannon, John R. Smith, Emmett E. RetZbach, Rufus A.
