Hobbs, of Newport News, and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Pruden, of Nansemond County, died at her home Saturday morning at 5 o’clock. She is survived by her husband; two sons, DeWitt Hobbs, Jr., and an infant son; six sisters, Mrs. W.S. Powell, of Magnolia; Mrs. Irving Johnson, Mrs. Frank Gurley, Mrs. J.B. Vaughan and Miss Lillie Pruden, of Suffolk, and Mrs. C.R. Six of Richlands and several nieces and nephews. The body will be brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. J.B. Vaughan, 214 North Street, Suffolk, where funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the Rev. J. Sydney Cobb, of Western Branch Church, of which she was a member, Mr. Cobb will be assisted by the Rev. Luther A. Harrison, of the First Baptist Church, Suffolk. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. Evelyn Lottie (PRUDEN; Mrs. D.
