Jordan, 73 Died Nov. 9th In Newport News Mrs. Fannie B. Jordan, 73, of Newport News, died at a Newport News Hospital at 5 A.M. on Wednesday, after a long illness. She was a native of Isle of Wight County, a member of the Chestnut Ave. Methodist Church. Mrs. Jordan is survived by a brother, S.Q. Bunkley of Eclipse, a sister, Mrs. Otis Allmond of Newport News. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Friday from the home with the Rev. J.W. Schakford, pastor of Chestnut Avenue Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
