Mr. Musick was a native of West Virginia. He was retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding with 43 years service as a sheet metal worker. He attended Smithfield Baptist Church, was a member of the Woodmen of the World and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late Donald Ellis and Lucy Ball Musick. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Scott Musick of Carrollton; two sons, H. Glen Musick of Smithfield and Donald W. Musick of Carrollton; one sister, Lucille M. Chrisp of Tazewell; one brother, Donald Ellis Musick, Jr., of Cottonwood; and five grandchildren. The body was donated to science [sic*]. Memorial Service was held Friday, Dec. 7, at the residence at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Dr. Donald R. Rhoton. Memorial donations may be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. His father (1892 - 1937) is buried in the ARTRIP and MUSICK family cemetery, Cleveland, Russell Co., VA. His mother (1895 - 1986) is buried in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, Mercer Co., WV.
