W. Hall} to } B&S R. A. Hall} This Deed made this the 15th day of April 1882 between W. W. Hall and Chloe A. Hall his wife the parties of the first part and R. A. Hall the party of the second part all of Norfolk County of the state of Virginia. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundered and sixty five dollars ($165) to them the said W. W. Hall and Chloe A. Hall his wife paid by the said R. A. Hall for which this is a reciept in full the said parties of the first part to wit: W. W. Hall & Chloe A. his wife have sold and by these presents doth sell and convey with full warranty unto the said R. A. Hall his heirs or assign forever. All of a certain piece or parcel of land situated or lying in Pleasant Grove Dist. Norfolk County State of Virginia, what Chas. F. Stewart heired from Phoeby Stewart of which said Chas. F. Stewart sold to W. W. Hall & containing (25) twenty five acres more or less. Given under our hands and seals this the 15th day of April A. D. 1882. W. W. Hall Chloe A. Hall County of Norfolk to wit: I C. C. Jackson a justice of the peace foe the county aforesaid in the state of Virginia do certify that W. W. Hall whose name is signed to the writing annexed hereto bearing date on the 15th day of April 1882 has acknowledged the same before me in my aforesaid. C. C. Jackson J. P. Virginia In the clerk's office of Norfolk County Court May 8th 1882. This deed was acknowledged before me by Chloe A. Hall the wife of W. W. Hall and the said Chloe A Hall being examined by me privately and apart from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her acknowledged the said writing to be her act and declared that se had willingly executed the same and does not wish to (?) it and the said deed was lodged till February 24th 1883 whe the same was admitted to record.
