Hall et ux to B&S Mary E. Dozier This deed made this 21st day of June in the year 1889 between Wm. W. Hall Jr. and Chloe A. his wife parties of the first part and Mary E. Dozier party of the second part; Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollard, the said Wm. W. Hall, Jr. and Chloe A. his wife do grant, bargain, and sell with general warranty unto Mary E. Dozier all that certain tract, piece, or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Pleasant Grove Magesterial District, county of Norfolk, and State of Virginia and being bounded as follows: to wit: on the north bay the lands of Edward Hall's heirs, on the west by the Clinton land now owned by Gillett, on the south by the lands of John Gammon's heirs, and on the east by the land of Richard Gammon, containing fifteen acres, be the same more or less, being the same property which was conveyed to the said Wm. W. Hall Jr. by the deed of J. S. Sykes and wife bearing the date February 16, 1886. The said parties of the first part covenant that they have the right to convey the said land to the grantee; that the grantee shall have quiet possession of the said land free from all encumberances; and that they will execute such other assurances of the said land as may be requisite. Witness the following signatures & seals. W. W. Hall Jr. Chloe A. Hall her mark State of Virginia County of Norfolk, to wit: I, Wm H. Barnes, a notary public for the county aforesaid in the state of Virginia, do certify that Wm W. Hall Jr. and Chloe A. Hall his wife whose names are signed to the writing above, bearing date June 21, 1889, have acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid. Given under my hand this 21st day of June 1889.
