Jolliff and Love his wife of Norfolk County and state Jolliff of Virginia of the first part and Josiah Jolliff of the county and state aforesaid Deed B & S of the other part. Wehereas that the said John W. Jolliff and Love his fee & tax pd wife for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollard to them in hand paid by the said Josiah Jolliff, the reciept whereof in hereby acknowledged hath bargained, sold, and conveyed and by there presents doth bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Josiah Jolliff his heirs and asigns our right and title in price or parcel of land now belonging to Sealy Jolliff during her lifetime formily belonging to Josiah Jolliff Sr., situated in the St. Bride's Parish there being two other heirs in the said land it containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less bounded as follows, on the north by the land of Fanny Bolchkin, on the east by the land of Willinghly Barnes, on the south by the land of W. R. Hanbury, on the west by the land of William R. Hanbury to have and to hold the said land unto the said Josiah Jolliff his heirs and asigns. We the said John W. Jolliff and love his wife shall and will warrant and defend the right and title against all claims and demands whatsoever in evidence whereof we have hereunto seforin (?) hand and seal the day and year first above written. John W. Jolliff Love H. Jolliff Norfolk County to wit. I Geo. T. Old Justice of the Peace for the county aforesaid in the State of Virginia do certify that John Jolliff whose name is signed to the writing above or hereto annexed bearing date on the 18th day of December personally appeared before me in the county aforesaid and acknowledged the said writing to be his act and deed.
