Recorded: April 14, 1649

Know all men by those present that I William Basnet of Lynhaven plantor doo 
for mee? my heires and assigns sell and ? over and deliver unto George Spenloe 
his heires or assigns one hundred acres of land now seated by mee William 
Basnett and one shallopp of two and twenty foote by the keele, now lyeing at 
my landing place and doo by those present give him the said Spenloe as full 
possession as I my selfe have or had of them, duo I ? I the said William 
Basnet dou will and freely make payment of my ? hundred pounds of good sound 
tob and three hogs heads Unto the said Spenloe and fower hundred pounds of 
tobacco unto Mr. Henry Woodhouse to be payd the foreth of December then the 
said land and shallop to be delivered back unto the said Basnet, and if in 
case this above ?ify tobacco bee not payd, then the said land and shallop to 
remayne in the possession of the said George Spenloe and in true perfomance 
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand this seaventh of June 1647.  Those words  
three hogs heads and the fourth of December interlynd before the beginning?:/ 
the marke of William Basnett; witness profont William Sapps. The mark of 
William Eadye/  Recorded the ?8th of June Anno Dui 1647Recorded ye 14th of
