Beverly Randolph, Governor, certified that Joseph Hodges be put on pension list 
January 1, 1791 on September 8, 1791, receiving 12 pounds yearly.

1793--certified by Henry Lee, Governor.

1795--Brooke certified his continuance on list.

  I do with advice of the Council herby certify that Joseph Hodges is continued 
on the list of pensioners with his former allowance, commencing on the first day 
of January 1799.  Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of 
Virginia, at Richmond, this 30th day of January, 1802.
