 The Virginian Pilot Thursday January 25, 1979
Mrs. Lanetta J. Jones, 92, formerly of 8454 Radnor Road, the widow of Thomas 
Jones, died Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. in a Chesapeake nursing home.
She was a native of Norfolk and an area resident all her life.  She was a 
charter member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Rosa Lee J. Hartman of San Pedro, Calif.; 
and nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, 
for a funeral Friday at 2 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley, by the Rev. 
Robert L. Lawrence.
