Norfolk - Retired Navy Chief Petty Officer Decovin Martin of 2512 Pait Court, a
veteran of 21 years of service, died Thursday in a hospital.

He was a native of Norfolk and the husband of the late Mrs. Martha H. Martin. He
worked for Haynes Furniture Co. 23 years and retired. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Martin of Norfolk; and a nephew.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1
p.m. in Calvary Cemetery with military honors at the grave. Officiating will be the
Rev. Ralph Harris. The family will assemble at the home of his brother at 3007
Schooley Ave.
