Mr. Salyer was a member of Elizabeth Camp No. 3, W.O.W. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, F.H., and W.L. Salyer, and two grandchildren, all of Norfolk. Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. Services will be conducted by the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of the Central Baptist Church. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, this afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Virginian-Pilot, Sep 2, 1940 Willoughby John Salyer - Funeral services for Mr. Salyer, who died Friday morning at the residence, 1116 Brambleton avenue, will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church officiating. There was a large attendance, including a delagation from Elizabeth Camp No. 3, W.O.W. There were many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lillies, pink roses and fern. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. The pall bearers were W. T. Taylor, William F. Donovan, J. W. Harrell, T. A. Helms, Randolph Owen and George D. Loder.
