Ross Willie Young, 79, went to his eternal rest Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in a 
local retirement home. He was an insurance salesman who worked for several 
insurance companies during his career. He was born in Batesville, Ark., the 
son of the late Susie Keller Young and Ben Young.

Mr. Young was a Presbyterian, a member of Ocean View Democratic Club and the 
Batesville, Ark., Masonic Lodge. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Woodhouse Young; a daughter, Sue 
Y. Siegler of Vashon, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Diane Grubbs of 
Windsor; two stepsons, William O. Unsworth of Conway, S.C., and John W. 
Unsworth of Burlington, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Elmwood 
Cemetery by the Rev. Arthur F. Jensen. Memorial contributions may be made to 
Ocean View Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the 
residence. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
