Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 16, 1919

Ernest Clifton Zirkle, aged 34 years, died suddenly at his home 46 Park 
Avenue, South Norfolk, last evening at 8 o'clock.  He was a son of the late 
George and Mrs. Georgie Zirkle, of West Virginia and is survived by his 
widow, one daughter, Evelyn Virginia Zirkle and two brothers, Michael 
Zirkle, of West Virginia and Harry Zirkle, of Ocean View.  The funeral 
service will be conducted at the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox, 402 
Berkley Avenue, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

ZIRKLE - At the family residence, 46 Park Avenue, South Norfolk, Saturday 
evening, November 15, 1919, at 8 o'clock, ERNEST CLIFTON ZIRKLE, son of the 
late George and Mrs. Georgie Zirkle, of West Virginia, aged 34 years.
The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral apartments of E. Lee 
Cox, 402 Berkley Avenue, THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock.  Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends of the family invited.
