James Edward Sherman Brady is the son of William R. Brady and Mary A. or F. Perry. 
James was born in 1864, in bowers hill, portsmouth,va -norfolk co. 
Mary Isabella McCloskey Howard was born 1882, in surry co, va
Isabella is the daughter of Ida and Thomas Howard
James and Isabella married august 29, 1899, in st. johns church, in 
portsmouth,va 
The Rev. Zebubon S. Farland,was the rector. 
The clerk who processed there marriage license was A. B. Carney
