Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 15, 1913

Mrs. Sarah F. Abdell, widow of John T. Abdell, died yesterday morning at 10:30 
o'clock after a short illness. She was 68 years old. She is survived by one son, 
Horace Abdell, of this city.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 5 o'clock from Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610 Freemason Street, Services will be conducted by Rev. E.P. Miner, 
assistant rector of St. Luke's Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

ABDELL – On Monday, July 14, 1913, at 10:30 o’clock a.m., SARAH F., widow of 
John T. Abdell, age 68 years.
Services at H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, 610-612 E. Freemason street, THIS 
(Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 5 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
