MABELLE S. ABIOUNESS NORFOLK - Mrs. Mabelle Sprague Abiouness, 81, of 301 E. 42nd St., died Friday in a hospital. A native of Quincy, Mass., she had been a resident of Norfolk most of her life. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Riverview Garden Club; and the Women's Club of Norfolk. Survivors include a grandson, Peter E. Abiouness II of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Mrs. Terri Lewallen of San Mateo, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Robinson of East Weymouth, Mass. A funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Office of the Dead will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. DEATHS ABIOUNESS, MRS. MABELLE SPRAGUE - In a Norfolk hospital, Friday, Mrs. Mabelle Sprague Abiouness, wife of the late Peter E. Abiouness and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Everett W. Sprague, in the 82nd year of her age. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport and Painter St. The Office of the Dead will be said in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, tonight at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will be at 301 E. 42nd Street after the funeral.
