Peter E. and Mrs. Mabel Sprague Abiouness of 3-1 E. 42nd st., Norfolk. A Lifelong resident of the Norfolk area, he operated the Jet Lounge Restaurant at the beach. A graduate of the Citadel, he was a life member of the Association of Citadel men. He lived at 108 Horseshoe Drive, Virginia Beach, and was a member of Virginia Beach Post of the American Legion. He was an Army veteran of World War II and held the rank of major 10 years. Besides his parents, surviving are a son, Peter Abiouness, and a daughter, Miss Terry Lee Abiouness, all of Norfolk. The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30. A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk, Saturday at 10:30 a.m., with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
