Virginian-Pilot
Peter Elias Abiouness, 79, of 301 E. 42nd St., the husband of Mrs. Mabelle 
Aprague Abiouness and son of Elias T. and Mrs. Mary Abiouness, died in his home 
Monday morning.

A native of Lebanon, he lived here most of his life.  He was a member of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Elks Lodge 38, the Loyal Order of Moose and 
the Waltonian League.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Y.E. Abiouness of Norfolk; and 
two grandchildren.

The Office of the Dead will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight 
at 7:30.

A funeral Mass will be said in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Painter 
Street, Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
