Younis Ellis Abiouness, 94, of 4161 Beach Ave., the husband of Mrs. Violette 
Azar Abiouness and a retired owner of hotels and real estate in the area, died 
Wednesday in a hospital.

He was a Norfolk resident since 1919 and was born in Lebanon.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Pierre of Montreal, Canada; a 
son, Alfred Abiouness of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.

 A Christian Wake service will be held today at 6:30 p.m. in H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The family, which will be at his home, have asked that flowers be omitted.  
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
