Mrs. Abrames, Leader in OES, Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Mary Jane Abrames, native of Albany, N.Y., widow of Harvey Abrames and a 
daughter of the late Henry M. and Sarah J. Crooker, died early yesterday at 
her home in the Merrimac Apartments. She suffered a heart attack.
A Norfolk resident 40 years, she was a past worthy matron of Virginia Chapter 
No. 22 O.E.S. and grand treasurer of the Grand Chapter, O.E.S. since 1912. The 
body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home pending arrangements.
