The deceased was a native of Eastern Shore, Va. and was 34 years old, but had been residing in Norfolk County, near Hickory Ground, for several years and had lived in Berkley about a year. He leaves a widow and five children. He resided in Lee street extended. The remains will be forwarded to Cape Charles this morning via the steamer which leaves for that place at 7:45 o'clock. *************************************************************** The funeral of the late John Thaddeus Abrams was conducted from the family residence in Twelfth street yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. P.S.C. Davis, pastor of South Norfolk Baptist Church, officiated and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
