Ackiss; two brothers, Alvin L. and Russell D. Ackiss, Jr., and his maternal grandmother Mrs. Mary Jane Dudley, all of Norfolk. He was a student in the John Goode School and attended the Hope Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park. ************* Emmit Ray Ackiss - Funeral services for Emmit Ray Ackiss, nine-year-old son of Russell D. and Eva Dudley Ackiss, were conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home yesterday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. T.D. Wesley. Pallbearers were Harry, Larry and Barry Brothers, Randy Menefer, Jerry Taplin, Wayne Wood, Bobby Trace and Bill Thompson. Burial was in the Riverside Memorial Park.
