Virginian Pilot December 8, 1979

Mrs. Margaret Waddy Ackiss, 71, of 802 Graydon Ave., the widow of Harrison S. 
Ackiss Jr. and a native of Norfolk, died Thursday night in a hospital.  
She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. 
She has no immediate survivors.
A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Roger 
C. Snyder.  H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has charge.  The family asks that 
flowers be omitted and memorial donations may be made to the Boys Home in 
Covington, Va.
